Since June 2024, however, ongoing construction projects in downtown Avondale Estates—most notably the Complete Street project along North Avondale Road—have brought noise, detours, and barriers that make it appear as though local businesses are closed. But here’s the truth: Purple Corkscrew is very much open and ready to serve you.

We know the cones and equipment can be discouraging, but inside our doors, you’ll still find the same cozy, inviting space, hand-picked wines, and smiling faces that have made Purple Corkscrew a community favorite. Best of all, we offer free and convenient parking, making it easier to visit us than it may appear from the street.
